The final international break has concluded and we can now turn the clock back to the real football we are all interested in! FPL.
This week I have two free transfers to use with the plan to go all in on Wolves assets and sell Pedro Porro who has really not been good for me since I brought him in. I will likely sell him to Rayan Aït-Nouri of Wolves and I may roll my other transfer or sell Joao Pedro for Strand-Larsen. Otherwise here is how I will lineup for Gameweek 12.
I was tempted by a goalkeeper transfer but may as well just wait until I wildcard as I will most likely pull the trigger soon. Therefore, Dean Henderson starts in goal this week, of course, against Aston Villa. I am not hopeful of a clean sheet but who knows?
In the back three this week I am starting Lucas Digne against Crystal Palace where there should be clean sheet potential and maybe something attacking wise too. Anontee Robinson stays in the 11 as he faces Wolves who have been struggling and he once again could return for me. With the likely transfer to Aït-Nouri, he will start in the defense too.
In midfield, I am once again going with five players. Emilie Smith Rowe has been good recently so I am hoping he can continue in the returns against Wolves who seem a good team to play right now. Cole Palmer faces Leicester for Chelsea and we all know what he can do especially against teams lower down in the league. Mohamed Salah also has a great fixture this week against Southampton away, he will most likely once again have my captain's armband due to the form of Manchester City and Erling Haaland. Bryan Mbeumo has also been a gem this season and Brentford face Everton this week who are very hit and miss in terms of how they play and what team will turn up for them. Finally, Morgan Rogers rounds out the midfield for Aston Villa against Palace, I am hoping he can get back into the attacking returns.
Up front I am going with two, however, I debated starting all three. The two I am going with are Erling Haaland against Tottenham who I am hoping can start scoring again after his great start to the season. I am between Joao Pedro and Danny Welbeck for the other spot but am currently going with Welbeck.
Really hoping for another green arrow this week but it cannot last forever so just hoping for a solid Gameweek at least that can solidify my position in the top 500,000 of managers.
